This exquisite island (sometimes known as Raja Yai Island) offers gentle easy diving for beginners with some challenging and fun drift diving for the more experienced diver. Beneath the water you'll find a sloping rock face dotted with hard coral forests, and especially colourful blue Staghorn corals.
Hovering over the reef are schools of false Barracudas, while on the reef itself you'll see Octopus and Cuttlefish in addition to the more common tropical species. Water depths range from 3 to 30 metres and visibility is generally around 20 metres, making Racha a good dive site for both divers and snorkellers.
The boat trip is approvimate 1 hour and 10 minutes to the island. The depth is from 3 meters to 10 meters. The dive site is suitable for all levels and this dive site is actually good for beginners. The current is varialbe and sometimes rough and strong. The reef has beautiful coral gardens, rocky points an bloulders.
Amazing marine life can be experience in here. You can see Whale sharks, Manta rays, Leopard sharks, Barracuda, many schools of smaller and bigger fish. Unusual fish life, easy accessibility, some fast drift dives at Racha depending on current. Beautiful topside scenery.
